I am the Paramedic Program Coordinator at a Technical College. After praying for months, the job was offered to me and I accepted it.
I never asked God to give me the job, I asked for His Will, and only His Will. I made sure that I knew that He was in charge of placing me where He wanted me.
I am learning the ropes, as it would be, and it feels as if I am not doing well.
I love the job, my boss is almost always amazing, but he seems out of sorts lately.
Please pray for me, my boss, the program and God’s will in each of them. I am a bit frustrated with the little things that I did wrong, the mistakes that I have made, and the fact that I have disappointed my boss(and myself).
I ask that God also gives me patience, strength and courage to face this hurdle. I also ask for each of those things in my daily walk with -Christ.

Thank you to all that have financially supported our ministry. It is a difficult time for all not for profit ministries so please just continue to pray for our organization as we try to grow men in the Gospel of Christ.

Couple of things
1. I’m in between jobs. Currently have a great part time contract with a company I love. It’s not enough money to make ends meet for my family. I’m praying this part time contract can be full time.
2. We just sold our home of 8 years and are looking for a rental. Need a place STAT since our closing is February. Praying that God opens a door ( literally) this week.

We are starting our 2020 process of raising funds for our nonprofit In The Zone. We have two new books coming out in 2020, The Pursuit a six month video and book series for men, and A Marriage Made In Heaven, written for women to help them help their husbands become the man God intended him to be. We operate over half our ministry from charitable individuals and businesses. Please pray for our efforts to keep our ministry alive and reaching men.

Dear Family and Friends,
As many of you are aware, Peter's retirement from the fire department is fastly approaching as the final months of 2019 flicker. Preparations are underway here at our home in Mt.Olive. It is a transition time into more ministry-related opportunities. Plus, we have substantial, directional decisions on the horizon. Please ask God to grant us wisdom and unity as these decisions are made.
Recently Peter traveled to Honduras as part of a ministry team at a There Is More Conference. While on the streets in between sessions, as Peter and a few others approached, this young girl began weeping. The interpreter discovered that the Holy Spirit was convicting her of rebellion toward her mother. Mother and daughter reconciliation occurred on the spot! God performed numerous healings, salvations, and deliverances throughout the three day conference on the streets, in between sessions, and on a one-day village outreach! His kingdom came!
Afterward accompanied by a local interpreter, he sojourned six hours over rugged, primitive roads into the gorgeous coffee and sugarcane-laden slopes of some Honduran villages where he literally experienced mountaintop moments like Elijah. On one particular occasion as an act of obedience, he stretched his hand up to the skies which had not surrendered rain in adequate quantities all year. The pastors from the mountain villages had paved the way for what happened next through extended fasting and prayer. Suddenly the winds swirled and clouds gathered over Peter as if drawn by a magnet and darkened with rain! Two hours of soaking showers followed. As I write this letter the area continues to receive daily rain!
An amazing honor has been bestowed upon Peter in the subsequent weeks. From among thousands of applications, he was selected as one of fifty eligible to attend a six-month evangelistic training boot camp at Christ For All Nations (CfaN), Reinhard Bonnke and Daniel Kolenda's ministry located in Orlando, FL. This begins January 22, 2020. Please click on logo below for additional information about CfaN, info on the Boot Camp & a ministry video.

Meanwhile, I am engaged in Hospitality duties for the YWAM Ascend base here in
Birmingham. This includes: attending to guests; furnishing, styling, and stocking the Hospitality apartment; ensuring all staff are welcomed and celebrated. Weekly both on and off the base I participate in intercession for unreached people groups overseas, as well as, revival in America and Alabama's specific role in igniting those fires.
Peter and I both are receiving training to assist with future DTS (Discipleship Training Schools) to equip, release, and support short and long-term workers on the mission field. There is a possibility that one or both of us would be traveling to Central Asia with January DTS students during the outreach phase in the Spring.
An ongoing local project which God revealed to us as a desire of His heart was a prayer house structure atop our mountain which is the highest point in the town of Brookside. This will function as a House of Prayer for all nations made available to YWAM (Youth With A Mission), Abba's House of Prayer, Appalachia prayer and revival leaders, The Gathering, and other various parts of the body of Christ that God draws. Salvaged, donated, and deeply discounted structural materials are on site awaiting the funds for the foundation.
Whew! We are so honored to have a part in the waves of revival, repentance, renewal, and reaping of the coming Great Harvest that is stirring in the earth fueled by the fires of intercession and in co-laboring with the Lord of the Harvest and Great Intercessor. I am about to come out with a new men’s ministry curriculum. I had a major setback yesterday with my partner. Please pray for God to be glorified and for me to stay the course. Joe

Thanks to God, I have been able to give many pastors in Africa and Asia free digital copies of my book, Pastoring: The Nuts and Bolts. They are using it to learn and train other pastors. My previous Prayer Wall request has been answered and it is now being published in India. Several pastors and professors have asked for a way to get print copies in Africa. Please pray for publishing queries to three publishers in Kenya and one in Singapore to help make this happen.

This is to express gratitude to those who prayed for my wife as she faced pancreatic surgery. We received good news yesterday. Ginny met with the surgeon five weeks post op. No chemo or radiation is in order. Next appointment in three months. Next CT scan in a year. I’m truly happy. The Lord is gracious!
